On 28th August 2025, Part III was invited by MISAAL to facilitate a session on how to write a complaint letter to register an FIR. Around 20 participants – including students, young girls, and women came together for this training in North-East Delhi. The session aimed to make the process of approaching the police more accessible for women, especially those with limited legal literacy.

The session began with an Antakshari on songs about letters—Kabootar Ja Ja Ja, Chitthi Na Koi Sandesh—that set an open, energetic tone. In small groups, participants discussed why written complaints matter and how to write a complaint letter (using our easy-to-use training material), and to ensure there’s enough proof when a letter is submitted to the police. Those who could read guided others through the training material, making the process collective and inclusive.

Working with real-life scenarios, each group drafted letters, presented them, and reflected together on what could make their complaints stronger and more effective.
