About the organisation

Part III is an Action Research & Resource Centre for upholding fundamental rights. We currently focus on identity-based discrimination & violence. Part III believes that the Constitution can be a site for transformative justice when change is led by the individuals/communities most impacted. We believe that all instances of individual violence and discrimination are rooted in structural and functional realities of society. We adopt an intersectional approach with collaborative insights from the grassroots where action informs research & research informs action. We work closely with survivors of systemic and identity-based violence along with community-based organisations in their pursuit to seek justice, dignity and systemic accountability, through legal intervention, training, research and advocacy. The Position

PART III is seeking a creative thinker to join our team, producing high-quality content and assisting in stakeholder management to amplify our message and mission and extend the reach and engagement of our work. As a part of a young organisation, the Communications Officer will have the opportunity to work across the organisation with the litigation and research teams by producing compelling content that resonates with our growing audience.

We are particularly looking for someone who can work with us to keep on top of emerging digital trends and explore innovative ways to engage online audiences. The successful candidate will also play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of other activities, events, training sessions and webinars, thereby contributing to the organisation’s overall success and impact.

About the Role

  • Working with the Executive Director and Programme Director to maintain and grow our external profile across all our audiences through multiple channels.
  • Creating and designing high-quality, engaging graphics for our audiences including pitch decks, reports, event materials and internal communications products.
  • Designing and delivering creative digital content and assisting with the day-to-day management of our social media channels.
  • Maintaining brand consistency across our products and organisation.
  • Monitoring and optimising our website and digital channels, ensuring our content is consistently high-quality and well structured.
  • Lead multimedia production efforts, including podcasts, interviews, and video editing.
  • Coordinate the development of the communication strategy of the organisation and its day-to-day implementation.
  • Assist the Executive Director in managing the team’s editorial calendar, ensuring integrated communications work is reflected across channels.
  • Ensure consistent content delivery through the forthcoming digital archive on the organisation’s website.
  • Think creatively and take initiatives in expanding the communications efforts of the organisation.

Qualifications

Essential

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, marketing, journalism, law or related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to take ownership, have accountability and work in a collaborative, closely-knit and multi-disciplinary team.
  • Proven experience in visual design and content creation with proficiency in using tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop or similar software.
  • Experience of using social media platforms including Twitter/X, LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • A sincere interest in exploring and acquiring new skills while striving for independent improvement.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi.
  • Availability to work from our office in CR Park in Delhi and willingness to travel when required.

Desirable

  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud tools like Adobe illustrator, InDesign and video editing tools like Premiere Pro is highly desirable.
  • Experience in handling video cameras and sound equipment.
  • Experience in website development platforms like WordPress and analytics tools like Google Analytics.
  • An understanding and genuine interest in human rights matters.

Compensation
The salary will be commensurate with the work experience and relevant qualifications of the Candidate (within an approximate bracket of Rs. 3,50,000 – 4,80,000 per annum based on qualifications and experience) Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within one week from the application, on a rolling basis.
